Lung Cancer Patient Ambassador, John Ashton has set his sights on completing this 10k event to raise awareness of lung cancer and highlight not only the results of access to effective medicines, but also the benefits of exercise for people with lung disease.

Whilst John has just ¾ of his pre-cancer lungs left, he has been busy training with the goal of breaking 60 minutes in this 10k run.

John has set up a page to help promote his challenge and to raise funds in support of Lung Foundation NZ. All funds raised will be used to help meet the costs to print a “lung cancer patient toolkit” he has developed to support people affected by lung cancer. To support please click on the link below.
